GABE HRIS Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy is designed to ensure that GABE HRIS is used in a secure, lawful, and responsible manner. The policy applies to all customers, administrators, employees, contractors, and other authorized users who access the Service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with applicable legal requirements in their jurisdiction.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use the Service to engage in activities that are illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive.
3.1 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Circumventing authentication or access controls
- Scanning, probing, or testing system vulnerabilities without written authorization
- Launching denial-of-service attacks or interfering with system availability
- Introducing malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
3.2 Platform Abuse
- Reverse engineering, copying, or attempting to extract source code
- Reselling or sublicensing the Service without authorization
- Using automated systems that degrade performance or stability
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
3.3 Fraudulent HR or Payroll Activity
- Creating fraudulent employee records
- Manipulating timekeeping or payroll data to commit fraud
- Falsifying compliance or audit records
- Misrepresenting workforce data for regulatory or reporting purposes
If GABE HRIS is used for government contracting environments, customers remain responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations including timekeeping and labor reporting requirements.
3.4 Misuse of Personal Data
- Collecting personal data without appropriate authorization
- Using employee data for unlawful surveillance or discrimination
- Processing personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws
3.5 Abuse of AI Features
- Using AI features to generate unlawful, discriminatory, or harmful content
- Attempting to extract training data or proprietary models
- Using AI features to automate harassment or deception
3.6 API Misuse
- Excessive automated requests designed to overload the system
- Using APIs to bypass application security controls
- Accessing data beyond authorized scope
4. Responsible Account Use
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for their accounts and credentials.
Customers must:
- Maintain secure authentication practices
- Control access to administrator accounts
- Promptly revoke access for terminated users
- Notify us of suspected unauthorized access

5. Monitoring and Enforcement
To protect the integrity and security of the Service, we may monitor system activity, logs, and operational telemetry.
Monitoring is limited to information necessary to:
- Maintain service reliability
- Detect abuse or security incidents

6. Suspension and Enforcement
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe that:

- Customer activity presents a security risk
- The Service is being used for unlawful activity
- System integrity or other customers may be impacted
